What SAFU is

Automatic payouts when a wallet gets drained. SAFU is a shared pool on Stellar: you stake USDC, register the wallets you want protected, and if one of them is drained, the pool pays you back by rules published in advance. Nobody votes on claims.

Two wallets, two jobs

• Staking wallet: the wallet you connect to the site and stake from. Payouts and withdrawals come back to it, so use a fresh wallet you keep safe.

• Covered wallets: the ones you want protected, like your everyday wallet for dapps and mints. You never connect them to the site. You prove each one is yours by sending a tiny amount from it to itself.

• Your staking wallet can never be one of its own covered wallets. If your everyday wallet is drained, the payout lands in the safe one.

How it works

1. Stake 1 to 10 USDC from your staking wallet on Stellar, Solana or Ethereum.

2. Cover up to three wallets on any of those chains. They stay tied to that stake and can't be swapped later.

3. Covered losses: phishing, a malicious token approval, a stolen private key or seed phrase, and a loan liquidated at a price that wasn't real. Claims are filed within 30 days with the drain transaction.

4. Payouts are in USDC, never more than the real loss. A claim on a stake younger than 90 days waits until the stake turns 90, then a 7-day cooldown runs and the payout arrives over 45 days.

5. Your stake is never locked. Withdraw whenever you like while no claim is open.

6. Idle USDC in the pool goes into a yield vault, and the yield on your own stake is shared with you. You'll see it in your Stake tab.

Your task

1. Read the FAQ at safustaking.com/#faq before you stake.

2. Go to safustaking.com and connect your staking wallet.

3. Open the Stake tab and stake 1 to 10 USDC. If you stake from Ethereum or Solana, copy the safu-account address shown in your Stake tab and include it in your submission.

4. Optional: register a covered wallet.

5. Post on X about your experience. Tag @safu_staking, link safustaking.com. Say what was easy and what was confusing; criticism is welcome.

6. Keep your stake until 31 October.

Rewards

10 winners get 5 USDC each, paid on Stellar. To qualify, your stake must still be active on 31 October (we check on-chain). From those entries we pick the 10 clearest and most original posts, views break ties, and a post with bought likes is out. Everyone else keeps their own stake and can withdraw it anytime.
